A First year Construction project management student, actively looking to pursue a career working on large- scale industrial and commercial projects. With strong organisational skills and experience of working to tight deadlines, I possess a solid understanding of a range of key engineering principles developed through my degree and work experience. Capable of using a variety of specialised software, including SAP, AutoCAD, Revit, Primavera and Microsoft projects. Key Skills
Teamwork: I have developed strong team working skills throughout my work experience and other work roles. In my four year of study, I worked as part of a five-person team to design a building and implementation of BIM in the project. Acting as project lead, I ensured that clear goals and deadlines were set and that all members of the team were able to contribute and discuss issues in an open manner.
Analysis: Being good at mathematics I have always enjoyed playing with numbers. Daily analysis of the productive of labour and implementation of new methods to improve it. I use to do analysis using advance excel and learn a bit of python as well.
Problem-Solving: I have developed strong problem-solving skills through both my degree and placement at Shapoorji Pallonji E&C. I am able to approach tasks in an analytical manner, utilising a methodical approach to examine various options and determine the best possible solution.
IT: Proficient in the use of a wide range of IT software and programs, including SAP, AutoCAD, Revit, Microsoft Projects and Primavera as well as Microsoft Office packages including Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
Communication: My working roles within hospitality, as well as my placement, have allowed me to develop excellent communication skills. I am an effective listener, able to convey messages clearly and am open-minded in all my discussions. I am also confident when it comes to communicating with groups of people, developed through my experience of working in teams and undertaking presentations whilst at University.
Interests & Activities
Student Representative: Collating student feedback and queries surrounding my degree course, presenting these to academic staff at meetings and making suggestions for change, reporting these back to fellow students.
Sport: I am a keen footballer, playing regularly in a five-a-side league. I also enjoy playing cricket. I am a district level swimmer.
Volunteering: I was working for orphanage helping kids there with mathematics and science. I have been mentoring people in academics.
Traveling: I have travelled North and middle part of India, Nepal, and United Kingdom. Also I have done bungee, paragliding, scuba diving and trekking.
Stock market: I been investing in BSE from past 2 years, I love analyzing companies market and annual report.
