-Jan/19 – Tickets and Issues piled up and transitioned during service transfer from incumbent vendor, causing major deal breaking escalations for apparent slow resolution to issues and tickets. By chairing regular handshaking with Client Stakeholders, understanding priority of issues, expedited documentation of SOPs, internal trainings, detailed tracking of team’s effort and work, gradually brought the situation under control with facts and figures. Eventually bringing down the ticket and issues backlog. It was highly appetited not only internally also helped to gain confidence of the customer.
-Dec/18 – Proactive effort toward coordination, risk mitigations, Cutover Planning and execution of Azure Migration of the Production environment was highly appreciated by customer. -05/17 – HANA DB of the SolMan 7.2 was crashing with Out-of-memory. Analyzing the Delta growth and reassessment of the Index server sizing completed. Recommendation for scale-up is approved and being implemented. This is also appreciated for pro-activeness.
-04/17 – Fiori Web Dispatcher Failover strategy for interim solution with NetScaler LoadBalancer and minimal manual intervention and long-term solution. This is helping the Go-Live and being steady state. Long Term solution is also recommended with Windows Clustering, along with Load Balancing.
-03/17 – Missing data setup in Training environment and needed urgent rebuild of the Golden Copy. IBMi Backup/Recovery Strategy is very unclear and undocumented area. I helped to coordinate the urgent ask of the project and lead the activities starting from building the strategy of using a staging system and creating the new Golden Backup of the Training environment. This helped the urgent testing phases to completed without delay and Go-live on time. Appreciations for the Team Management, Technical and architectural expertise and Leadership qualities.
-01/17 – Transitioning the responsibilities of the Basis Onshore Architect and Support Tech lead, to the Offshore. Customer was confident for this transition, which reduced the project cost and centralized the control over the project.
-10/16 – Managing the BW Cutover, by optimizing the technical steps for the transport import, appropriate resource alignment, close tracking of progress and handling the escalations. The most worried Basis transport task completion before time helped gaining 12 hours’ time in the cutover.
-08/16 – Performance Review of the landscape on AS400 and submitting. Due to different strategic restrictions, only few could be implemented, like IBMi Active Jobs, Memory parameter tuning, which brought about over 100% improvement in the response times during the pick hours. Technical expertise was highly appreciated by both Customer and Accenture Management.
