Division of the Juma Al Majid Group is

responsible for overseeing the planning, design,

development and construction of major landmark

projects, not only in the United Arab Emirates but all over the world including the United States Of

Our input commences at pre-design stage with the

production of design briefs and competitive

selection of consultants. During the design

development stage, we review the consultant's

design, technically and commercially. We also

review and approve contract management

functions in liaison with the consultant, thus

ensuring that quality of materials and

workmanship meet Juma Al Majid's exacting

standards and that the projects are completed on

time and within the budget.

recently include: An International standard 5 star hotel (Jood Palace Hotel Dubai) in Deira, UAE; a

28-storey 800 apartment luxury residential

complex in Al Nahda, Sharjah, UAE; Heritage

Center phase IV office tower and penthouse

building in Rochester, Minnesota, USA; 24 storey

The Expo 2020 Dubai master plan is located on a

438-hectare site that includes a dedicated gated

200-hectare Expo area, and a surrounding

residential, hospitality and logistics zone.

Conceived to facilitate the global dialogue on the ground during the Expo, bringing to life the theme

'Connecting Minds, Creating the Future' and

seamlessly integrating the three sub-themes

Opportunity, Mobility and Sustainability. At the

core of the Expo 2020 Dubai master plan for the

gated Expo area, are three distinct zones, each

dedicated to one of the sub-themes of Opportunity, Mobility and Sustainability, which will converge

at the central Al Wasl Plaza, the figurative and

literal heart of Expo 2020.

The flagship UAE Pavilion will feature

prominently in addition to a Welcome Pavilion

and an Innovation Pavilion near the North

Entrance surrounding the central plaza; and three

Souks - one at the heart of each Theme Zone -

which will showcase smaller pavilions surrounded

by the larger country pavilions on the outer rings ensuring maximum visibility and footfall for all

participants. Additionally, each thematic zone will also have one feature Entertainment Venue and a

Major Projects

Al Hosn Gas has undertaken the project

of developing the Shah Arab field sour gas

reservoir. This program has been designated as

the Shah Gas Development (SGD) Project.

The Field is a large anticline oriented along a

NE-SW axis and is located 210 km southwest of

Abu Dhabi City.

The SGD Project represents a new era in gas

development in Abu Dhabi. The sheer size of the

facility and equipment, in addition to the high

technology that is used to process the gas and the complexity in constructing such large facility

formed a new benchmark in the industry.

The facilities designed to process approximately

1,000 MMSCFD of feed gas. The facilities are

located in the Liwa Western Region and play a

major role in the economy of the region by

providing attractive career and training

opportunities for UAE nationals and developing

local supporting industries and businesses.

The SGD project covers four main elements:

2006)

The contract for the Al Mamzar residential

storey towers complemented by an eight-storey

dedicated car parking complex. Each

tower includes a ground floor and 13 residential

floors, and has a health club on the top floor. The buildings are located on the Dubai-Sharjah

border and include over 1,400 apartments in total

with a built-up area of over 300,000 square

meters.
