It was a small wood shop where I started off at. We would take full size wood logs and cut them down to certain and various sizes to build shipping pallets, there were many different machines we had to learn and work on, eventually after learning well on the machines and working my way through seniority, I was offered the title of shift lead. That brought more responsibility of learning and being in charge of the large kiln that we used to heat treat the pallets. I did that and learned a bit in the paint shop up until the closed the wood shop and had to let go of workers.
