I initially worked prn until April of 2018, when I then became full time.

Educational Presentations and Seminars:
• October 2013, primary guest speaker presenting education awareness for breast cancer, including breast cancer screening and primary prevention facts at Perfecting Faith Ministries.
• June, July and August of 2013 along with March and April of 2014. I helped implement computer programming with the software now used at HCA facilities throughout the country (CPOE). Assist and advise physicians and other mid-level providers in questions they may have in order to help incorporate the use of computer documentation and charting.
• June 2013, participated in a local community fair, called the Southern Comfort Family Festival. Performed blood pressure screenings, body mass index and blood glucose screenings.
• May 2012, helped put together a health fair for the Nashville, TN community. Obtained sponsors and vendors to help participate. I sat up a booth myself along with other registered nurses to screen for blood glucose, blood pressure and body mass index. Paperwork was provided to the participants to give to their primary care providers.
• 2012 to present, I am a preceptor for Vanderbilt University’s nurse practitioner program. I typically precept two acute care students within a calendar year.
• 2011 to present, became a speaker for Abbott to provide material for Humira, a biologic medication used to treat both Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis to other health care providers. I still continue to speak today.
• November of 2010 to present, became a speaker for Prometheus Labs to provide material for Lotronex, a medication used to treat severe IBS-diarrhea, to other health care providers.
• Spring of 2010 to Spring of 2011, created and presented educational material for women residing at a shelter called Mending Hearts, located in Nashville, TN. Mending Hearts is a shelter for women recovering from drug and alcohol addiction with no outside support. Mending Hearts provide room and board, along with providing assistance in gathering health care, job placement and apartment placement long term. I put together bi-monthly presentations in regards
