As a life-long hospitality employee I have years of hands-on and diverse experiences working with customers, employees, vendors, and business owners in restaurants, taverns, and banquet facilities. In recent years I have worked as a general manager but, in previous years, I worked most back-of-the-house positions and all front-of-the-house positions, including host, server, and bartender. I grew as a banquet supervisor and have excelled as a bar manager and general manager. These varied experiences have provided me with a deep understanding of customer expectations, the interests of employees in all positions, and the goals and concerns of business owners. This hospitality experience is augmented by decades of event planning and community service, which are highlighted on the next page. My recent work history is summarized below.
