Synthesis, characterization, and gas sensing performance of sol-gel based tungsten oxide thin films, for ammonia sensor.

In characterization part, SEM, XRD, UV-VIS Spectroscopy, viscosity and profilometer which helped in maintaining film thickness and also to increase sensitivity and stability of sensor.

PERSONAL PROJECTS

1. Extraction of oil from waste plastic and the

characterization of catalyst and pyrolysis oil.

Objective - To reduce plastic waste & control environmental pollution.

The oil after pyrolysis was characterized by Viscosity, Flash and Fire point.

Characterization of catalyst (sieve analysis), FTIR, XRD,SEM,TGA. 2. Preparation of Graphene oxide from the Agro

Waste

Using sugarcane baggase for the graphene oxide preparation. Characterization of prepared graphene oxide.

Prepared graphene oxide can be doped in sensor to increase the sensitivity and also can be used in pharmaceuticals and oil & gas industry.

3. Design of Cooling Tower

Main function is to condense the vapor which is getting wasted in lab, which help to reduce approx 500m3/hr of water wastage. Collecting all the high temperature water and reduce the temperature on lab scale.

4. Utilization of Human Hair as the packing material for the mass transfer operation

Hair is used because of its high tensile strength, thermal resistant and high sorptivity properties.

Design of packed bed distillation column.

Using semi-structured packing material from the hair. Comparative study with other existing packing materials. EDUCATION
