I work with a pediatric patient diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy. My duties include Medication Administration, Monitoring for Seizures, Properly utilization of medical equipment (i.e., Lifts, Wheelchairs, Safety Beds), observe for changes in health and mental status, Fall precautions, Dressing Changes, light housekeeping, administer meals and hydration. monitor incontinence.
Accomplishments
I have enhanced my clients level of acuity. Client is more active and has reduced temper tantrums. No seizure activity has been noted within 6 months. No falls noted since employed. Client has healthy skin and bowel regimen is controlled.
I am always at work and on time. No complaints from family members regarding level of care given. I started this assignment as a temporary part time employee and has since then become a permanent full time employee due to the level of assistance I provide to client and family. Skills Used
