Professional Skills

I have pursued my post-graduate training from a tertiary care hospital and an esteemed institution in the country, Lokmanya Tilak Municipal medical college and general hospital. During 3 years of training period apart from working in general pediatric wards I have also worked in super-specialty departments like pediatric hematology & oncology, pediatric nephrology, pediatric neurology and epilepsy, pediatric cardiology, endocrinology, gastroenterology, neonatology and pediatric intensive care on rotation basis.

I have taken training in basic life support (BLS) and pediatric advance life support (PALS) and successfully completed my certification course in the same. During this period, I have performed various procedures like resuscitation of newborn, umbilical vein and artery catherization, lumbar puncture, pleural fluid tapping, ascitic fluid tapping, peritoneal dialysis, central line insertion, bone marrow aspiration and biopsy, intubation and mechanical ventilation under guidance and also independently. I have undergone training for International Board Certified Lactational Consultant (IBCLC) course. Experience

After completion of my post-graduation, I have worked as specialty medical officer (SMO) in department of pediatrics at Khan Bahadur Bhabha hospital, Kurla, Mumbai for a period of 1 year. Academic Achievements:

1) 1st place in LTMMC and MUHS university 2nd place in M.D pediatrics examination summer 2019.

2) Thesis topic: A study of antioxidant levels pre and post induction in patients with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia.

3) Poster presentations at national conferences and state conference. 4) 3rd prize in Mumbai hematology quiz.

I am looking for a work place where I can utilize my skills for the betterment of the patient and also improvise my personal skills further.
