Accountable for all strategic and tactical sourcing. Developed metrics to evaluate supplier performance/suitability. Sourced all mechanical/electrical/electronic/raw material components internationally and domestically.

Initiated cost reduction programs that saved approximately $1-2 million annually (rebates, logistics consolidation, renegotiation of LTAs)

Purchased and designed wide variety of machined and fabricated sheet metal and structural metal components and multiple grades and types of industrial fabrics (including coated fabrics, upholstery, non-wovens and film-based fabrics) for all three divisions. Stamped, machined, castings, weldments, etc…

Purchased mechanical and electronic components (flow control, pcb, potentiometers, valves, pipe) for containment and tank divisions.

Interfaced with engineering department on a daily basis to maximize efficiency and profitability for design-build oriented products used within environmental secondary containment projects worldwide. Provided input to manufacturing department on how best to build and assemble products.

Responsible for tooling up several crews that performed assembly and installation functions worldwide. Instituted assembly division “post-mortem” review process to examine productivity and profitability for this division.

Sets all pricing for containment and athletic divisions. Interfaced with large network of athletic product distributors.
