PROFESSIONAL SUMMARY: An accomplished, “hands-on” Electrical Engineer with extensive experience in electronic manufacturing, medical devices, and aerospace industries. Proven success in identifying failure analysis, determining root causes, testing, and implementing corrective actions.
SUMMARY OF QUALIFICATIONS
Product Development Design for Manufacturability and Reliability Project Management
Build/Process/Test Hybrid/Device/IC Test Yield/Process Improvement
Time Management Initiative/Integrity/Ethical Solar EPC Warranty Services
SELECTED ACHIEVEMENTS
Project management of company North American field retrofit activities. Coordinated material, manpower and customer communications for almost 3500 string level solar inverters
Coordinated emergency switchyard fire remediation including multiple transformer repairs and successful verification testing in half the time of current anticipated repair schedules
Investigated and resolved excessive failure fallout during product qualification. Investigated, evaluated, designed, tested, and implemented corrective action. Product was validated with successful qualification rebuild. New updated process/procedure was validated and implemented across all company products.
Maintained solar site warranty management for approximately 4 Gigawatts of Utility Scale Solar facilities
Excessive capacitor leakage failures were occurring during product development. Investigated, characterized, determined root cause to implement correction action. Solution reduced failure rate from 8% to less than .08%.
Persistence on multiple investigations resulted in minor impacts to improve failure yields with the major contributor determined after more than a year of diagnosing and testing.
