Global Risk Analyst II
Develop the budget strategy for insurance related expenses for US, Canada, and Mexico. Nissan has a variety of insurance programs both on the global and local level. Each entity is given an premium allocation for each program based on different measures. My responsibility is to determine their allocation and build out journal entries through SAP to bill them for their share each month throughout the fiscal year.
Create global risk management strategy by analyzing the organization's risk v. premium by producing raw data and using excel-based reports and Tableau to track key performance indicators that identify areas where the Company can reduce losses and decrease premiums.
Execute supplier and vendor contracts. Ensure the Company is indemnified or “made whole” in the event of a loss by negotiation language in favor of Nissan and properly transferring contractual risk to the other party.
Responsible for billing of premiums, broker fees, claims made within deductibles, etc. As well as, account reconciliations to ensure the inflows and outflows of cash are appropriate.
Implemented Tableau into a variety of insurance programs and cash management reports to better depict the historical and recent trends as well as forecasting losses and future cash flow.
