M-TECH THESIS (2017-present)
Stability analysis of Thin walled cylindrical hollow shaft under torsional loading o Analysed the effect of buckling on the efficiency of power transmission using hollow shafts. o Developed a nonlinear mathematical model to analyze buckling failure of hollow shafts under torsional loading. o Investigated the effect of geometric imperfections in failure of hollow shaft using ABAQUS and obtained a good agreement with the experimental results.
Guide: Dr.Pankaj Wahi, IIT Kanpur
B-TECH THESIS (2014-2015)
Semi-automatic Transmission with pre selection of gears o Designed and fabricated an all new triple-clutch gearbox model with pre-selection of gears with which continues and uninterrupted traction is possible.
o CAD model of the modified gear box was made and the motion dynamics was analysed using SolidWorks o Developed a semi-automatic transmission in which clutch can be completely eliminated by using synchronizing cams Guide: Dr. Mathew Skaria, T.K.M College of Engineering Kollam, Kerala KEY ACADEMIC PROJECT AND EXPERIMENTS (2016-2018)
Study of nonlinear characteristics of vibration of suspension spring uses in bikes (ME627) o Investigated the jump phenomenon in bike suspension spring with induced nonlinearity o Nonlinear behavior was simulated using MATLAB and an improved resonance (suspension) characteristic is observed. Vibration control of pedestrian bridge assembly model (ME756) o Modal analysis of pedestrian bridge model was done using ABAQUS (FEA). o Designed a tuned mass vibration absorber which can take away unwanted vibrations. Modal Analysis: Lab Experiment 1 (ME756)
o Impact hammer excitation response of drilling tool was captured and analyzed using peak picking method. RELEVANT COURSEWORKS/LAB
