Work-Related Achievements

During my career spanning over 30-years in serving organizations from 1987 to 2020, I have made several achievements for the organizations for which I have had the privilege serving; starting with being honored as Lake Correctional Institution’s Employee of the Year in 1998 for outstanding service to fellow employees of the institution in the development of a child-care program for employees.

In 2001, I was once again recognized by the Florida Department of Corrections as a leader in the development of business partnerships willing to hire ex-offenders upon release. In 2005, I left the Florida Department of Corrections to move back to Central Florida to take care of my aging parents and began serving private organizations to achieve the results for ex- offenders in programming I had begun in the Florida Department of Corrections. In 2013, I was recognized by Bridges of America for developing employee training in the implementation of therapeutic communities and Medication Assisted Treatment grants in correctional settings.

In 2016, I was promoted to an international position responsible for grants and program development in correctional settings which involved grant contract development and grant contract negotiations. In this position, I have co-written grant contract proposals to develop programming and implementation methods which have been both acceptable to correctional agencies and effective in ex-offender success. I also collected, analyzed, and coordinated data for grants and contract reporting

I am a team leader, leading teams to success for every organization in which I have been involved.
