The main aim the project is to decrease the power consumption of the street light when there is no traffic present at the area .This is done by using IR and LDR technologies.By using IR it detects the vehicle and it gives signal to LDR then automatically the light will be on after the vehicle crosses the street in that place also we will place a IR it detects vehicle after vehicle crosses that it will automatically gives the signal to LDR then the light will be off.
