I would like to apply for the role of a Receptionist that you have advertised on Neuvoo.

I am Solam Nande Gcobo, a 20-year-old second year student at the University of KwaZulu Natal. I am doing a degree in International Relations. I am residing on Alexandra Road in Scottsville.

I am a vibrant and energetic person with 2 years’ experience in customer facing roles in retail and hospitality. I first worked as a cashier at Ackermans, the position opened a platform for interacting and working very closely with persons of different personalities and background. Not only did it give me the customer excellence skill, it also groomed me in other aspects in retail as part of job was to do store replenishing, housekeeping and other duties listed in my curriculum vitae. I also moved on to work as a waitress after my temporal contract at Ackermans had expired. As a waitress, my customer-based skills were enhanced with a sense of urgency as I worked even closely with customers that I was serving. With this role I was learnt patience as a life lesson. And that lesson has stuck with me along with values such as loyalty, commitment, and consistency.

Both roles have given me a great amount of confidence in dealing with a wide range of customer service, high cost transactions, complaint resolution and follow up on customer care.

Salary requirements: I am accepting nothing less than R20 per hour.

I feel that my skill set and knowledge fit perfectly with the requirement you are looking for in a candidate, and I am available for an interview at short notice. Transport will not be an issue.
