Architect infrastructure design for the deployment of Guardium Database monitoring solution for the entire enterprise (3000 Databases on 1000 servers in first phase).

Develop and ensure Database Activity Monitoring policies/rules are Setup in accordance with HIPPA regulation.

Administrating of Central Manager, Aggregator and Collectors.

Access: Maintaining Guardium Access (Cli, Guardcli, Root Passkey)

Deployment: Guardium monitoring for the top applications. Install GIM/STAP on the database servers manually/using HPSA for different OS of DB servers i.e., Windows, RHEL5, RHEL6, HP-UX, AIX for Various flavors of DB such as Oracle, Sybase, MSSQL, MySQL etc. Installed Guardium on exadata servers manually.

Troubleshooting: Aggregation/Archive Errors, Scheduled Jobs Exceptions, Break-fix for Inactive STAP's, No Traffic, Sniffer Restarts, Disk- Space, validating TCP traffic for active STAP’s.

Monitoring Performance: Capacity Planning, verifying IE configuration, High CPU utilization on DB server.

Reviewing Configurations: STAP Verification, System Requirements, Purge\Merge\Archive\Backup settings, Guardium White listing.

Patch Installation: Installation of the latest patches on all the Appliances.

Certificate Renewal: Ensuring that all appliances have the latest SSL Certificates from Venafi (SHA256).

Configuration of new Guardium Appliances. Work with Build/VM team to rebuild the devices having issues.

Responsible for Install Guardium VA (Vulnerability Assessment) on Application Level, create assessments, Add Data Sources to VA Assessments, Running and scheduling assessment, verifying scan Results, work with SLO/DBA for any network issues. Responsible for deploying and updating Guardium on the DB servers used for DAM (Database Activity Monitoring) by the information Security Analyst, trouble shooting of Security Appliances i.e., Fire Eye, Radware AppXcel and Radware CID. 2

Troubleshooting and installing inactive S-taps, S-taps active but not capturing DB traffic. Complete configuration of Guardium for different OS of DB servers i.e., Windows, RHEL5, RHEL6, HP-UX, and AIX for various flavors of DB such as Oracle, Sybase, and MSSQL etc.

Performing RFC’s/CRQs for installing S-taps on DB servers, updating to latest bundles, performing manual data purges, replacing server hardware.

Ensuring seamless Import, export, archive of data to Centera SAN or via SCP, backup, purging, audit process reports exports.

Responsible for analyzing traffic through the interfaces of Guardium through the Command Line Interface (CLI).

Using the CLI to purge data, configuring NTP server for the appliance, restarting the system/GUI, keeping track of the CPU usage on Guardium, FireEye and Radware to ensure proper traffic routing across the Bank's network.
