If applicable locate fire watch. Make sure they know they are suppose to be watching for you.
Before starting each job locate safety equipment such as fire extinguisher, emergency evacuation routes, safety shower, spill containment and cleanup supplies. Familiarize yourselves with how to use eye wash station, safety shower and fire extinguishers.
Before each job make sure all people working on project with you read and sign all required paperwork and once job is completed, make sure each person signs off on same paperwork.
