EXPERIENCE
Fleye — President, Co-Founder 2011 - PRESENT
Built a systems, software and service company that has captured millions of videos of participants wearing patented RFID wristbands at events like Spartan Race and venues like Sky Zone and karting tracks across the country. CheckIt Technologies — CTO, Co-Founder 2008 - 2010 Developed a low-cost, printed sensor that detects damage to the structural integrity of a helmet. Sensor, controller circuit and UI integrated into the POC Skull Orbic Comp H.I. helmet that won the ISPO Product of the Year. Integral Design & Development — President, Founder 2002 - 2008 Wearable and embedded video surveillance solutions for federal law enforcement and military customers worldwide. Developer, manufacturer and prime contractor for special projects for FBI, ATF, Department of State, and Department of Homeland Security Special Operations Command. Arthur D. Little — Director, Wearable Systems 2001-2002 Founded and led a new group to address opportunities for wearables in healthcare, military and consumer products. Worked across disciplines to integrate advanced electronics, batteries, sensors and technical fabrics. IBM Research — Director, Design Lab 1998-2001
Created a new lab that explored the future of wearables. “Digital jewelry” was my project for integrating new displays, wireless technology, and user interfaces to products that we already wear. This work was showcased at events worldwide. EMS / Revivant — Lead Engineer 1997-1998
Led full product design process - research, engineering, prototype development and user testing of a wearable CPR assist device. AutoPulse is now sold by Zoll and is used by tens of thousands of first responders. DEKA R&D — Engineer 1992-1994
Worked directly with Dean Kamen on concept development and prototyping of medical devices including bedside dialysis, pharmaceutical compounding, and the iBot wheelchair platform which also led to the Segway. EDUCATION
