Description :

MEPS plays the integral role in the implementation of smart cards for automated teller machine (ATM) cards, which are an upgrade to chip-based cards from previous magnetic-stripe cards issued to all banks' customers.

The card is also known as Bankcard, a card with multiple functions. There are three main functions that can be used, namely ATM (with various combinations of banking transactions), e-debit (online purchase payment) transactions at participating merchants. Payment gatweway system using base 24

Base 24 switch which is an electronic retail payment switch used by banks, retailers and processors across the world. Operating on the HP NonStop server, the payment engine continues to provide organizations with a robust, high-performance, fault-tolerant solution for processing consumer payment transactions.

Description: Goods and Services Tax (GST) is a multi-stage consumption tax on goods and services whereby each point of supply in a production chain is potentially taxable up to the retail stage of distribution. At the same time suppliers are entitled to refunds of GST incurred on business inputs. The basic fundamental of GST Malaysia is its self-policing features which allow the businesses to claim their Input tax credit by way of automatic deduction in their accounting system.

Modules worked for GST implementation :

1. GST – INSITE MY product based testing the GST implementation across the AGRO Bank. IGS integrates with the host systems to provide a solution platform for Agrobank to ensure proper record keeping which is pre-requisite for accurate tax declaration. With the IGS accounting system in place to accurately capture and produce accounting information for tax reporting purposes, Agrobank can accomplish effectiveness and reduce human errors in the tax declaration. This is indirectly reducing the risk involved in Agrobank’s compliance costs orpenalties imposed in the event of errors or invalid tax reporting.

2. EHRMS – Visual Solutions Product based testing the EHRMS benifits like loans, medical,insurance etc It has the ability to handle repayment scchedule and automatic deduction from salaryMuch of the parameters are user definable which allows flexibility on how benifit is handled in the system

3. Ar-Rahnu – Microlink product testing for GST implementation

Agro Bank Ar-Rahnu is an Islamic pawn broking system, a macro financing credit where jewellery such as gold is pawned for a small service fees (safekeeping fee).This popular and lucrative Islamic pawn broking has prompted Agro Bank to offer Ar-Rahnu services to its client in which GST has been implemented

Customer from the bank can do any transactions using the Prepaid Cards as per the Transaction Settings done by the Bank in the Business Operations login given to the client. The Cardholder will be provided by the Customer Login once the card is activated. Branch user will be given a login to reload/ refund the card account which makes the cardholders to do the transactions in different channels like WEB, POS, IVR, ECOM as per the transaction limit and fee settings for the product.

Description: While adding new platform or underlying for existing platform or Equity the calculation will be changed and this calculation changes are tested for entire collateral management. E.g. Calculation of Market value, calculation of LVR, calculation of platform weighted LVR, calculation of Lending value etc. for the collateral Management Project. Loan client details and sample calculation are checked in Enquiry module and What if calculator. In Statements client details summary will be displayed and can be checked for the respective client name and ID

Description: COSSE (Customer Offer Sales and Service Eligibility), is a Service Oriented Architecture in Core Banking Modernization. It is a PEGA Business Rules Engine (request/response model) performing decision making role between channels and SAP database. COSSE is built on PEGA, which is the bank standard BRE. Business Rules Engine (BRE) is used to determine the offers applicable for a customer. Advantage of COSSE is to reduce time to market for product line revision or offer/campaign changes. On the top of CBM projects, L3a implies New Business Products that have been introduced under Demand Deposit Accounts. Also rules have been defined for each product corresponding to its features and other offers. COSSE is involved in defining the business rules for all the new products and its features.
