Sr. Program Manager (Santa Clarita, CA)

• Appointed by senior management to act as the primary technical liaison and point of contact with clients to represent the company’s interest and services in all assigned test programs while driving the financial performance of test programs, scheduling, planning, and problem solving and solutions-based approaches.

• Successfully provided skilled leadership in managing two test programs with a combined budgeted value of over $2M while partnering with the Business Development team on developing critical proposals and sales activities that culminated in the company being awarded multiple significant projects resulting in over $10MM in incremental revenues and add-on business opportunities.

• Stepped up and became deeply involved in a Kaizen training event focused on introducing continuous improvements initiatives with one of the company’s largest clients that delivered new opportunities while providing program management leadership for this client post Kaizen training. The result was reduced re-work/re-test costs by over 50%.

• Played pivotal role in working with clients in understanding complex testing requirements ensuring consistency with the company’s standard practices and capabilities and successfully managed the test schedule to ensure tight adherence to client’s contractual requirements and expectations.

• Appointed by senior management to assume a leadership role overseeing a 12 member of Program Managers in driving the monthly program review process focused on customer satisfaction, program schedule and cost status.

• Appointed by the CEO to assume the Interim General Manager position for the Santa Clarita facility while an executive search was underway with P&L responsibility for a $20MM AOP and 80 employees.

• Drove the development and rollout of the 2019 AOP which incorporate 2% of organic growth and a planned 3% reduction in operating expense. The actual results for 2019 was a 11% uplift in revenues and a 12% improvement in EBITDA.

• Took on a concurrent leadership role as the Senior Program Manager for Strategic Accounts for 3 months for identifying strategic customers and projects valued in the multi-millions and spanned multiple NTS lab sites. L3 COMMUNICATIONS – OCEAN SYSTYEMS Sylmar, CA $240MM 2005-2007 L3 Technologies (formerly L3 Communications) was an American company that supplied command and control, communications, intelligence, aerospace, navigation, avionics and ocean products. Qualification Engineer

• Spearheaded the completion of a major subsystem qualification program consisting of both EMI and environmental tests that required an executable test plan and various specific reports, test procedures and a formal report.

• Partnered with and led a cross functional team and acted as the cost accounting manager in delivering this major qualification program that spanned 9 months for planning and procedure writing, 6 months to execute testing outcomes and had a budgeted cost of over $350K in lab fees and required 2500 labor hours and was the largest single qualification program for the company in 10 years.

• Provided skilled leadership in the quoting, cost estimating, and monitoring of direct costs and labor hours required for test program activities, assessing and approving supplier qualifications, and intuitively evaluating past qualification test data to prepare qualification by similarity reports with proof of compliance.
