During the lockdown, I have been baking and cooking pre-made meals for hungry customers while busy with Shaw Academy courses. Every last Friday of the month I make affordable meals for employees at a factory outside Pretoria. I also do occasional dinner parties as a private chef. 2019 - 2019 Pastry Chef
Winslow's Tavern
As part of the 1st prize for 'Young Rising Stars', I won an internship for the summer season at Winslow's Tavern in Cape Cod, Wellfleet. I worked alone in my section, prepping everything, plating, and weekly standing in on the line for my colleague. I worked closely with the servers.

While studying to become a chef I interned at Glen Carlou restaurant and worked there full time after I graduated until I left for the USA. I worked in all the sections in the kitchen, from hot to cold section, from grill to pastry. This is part of my Video and Photography journey.

Summary
Work experience
I was a Camera Operator on a 23 day shoot in Europe for a show that will air from April on VIATV. On the shoot we had 3 camera setups interviews and shot links on the road trip of this travel/lifestyle show. I was also the DIT/Data wrangler for the show.
2016 - 2017 Videographer & Editor
Matchboxology
I shot and edited a short Video where we asked ladies about HIV Prevention that was shown at a USA Medical Conference. The follow up of that I recorded 3 hour sessions with Matchboxology doing research on HIV Prevention Pills in communities and raise awareness of this product and explaining how it works and where it is available. The shooting took place over November and December. Editing starts in March 2016 for a 5 min video for a conference in USA to show the work we did.
2016 - 2017 Offline Editor for DIS! on channel 147 DSTV Palama Productions
I offline weekly episodes of 24 min for VIAtv on channel 147 DSTV. The show is about good restaurants around the country who make interesting foods. I was the on set Food Photographer and one of the bloggers who talked about my foodie experiences on the show.
