•Registered nurse in the Jacobi Medical Center Adult Emergency Department treating medically ill and traumatically injured patients. Jacobi Medical Center is a Level 1 Trauma Center, Burn Center, Snake Bite Center, Stroke Center, with a hyperbaric chamber. Working in this environment, I have experience in responding to many types of mild to severe emergent situations. I am calm, levelheaded, and prepared for emergencies with ESI ranging from 1-5. Regarding post patient stabilization and care, I am equally confident in monitoring and treating the patient until their time of discharge or transfer.

Our mission is to improve our patient outcomes and the nursing environment, performance, and retention by integrating core values and current evidence-based research into our everyday practice. •Sing Sing Correctional Facility is an all-male, maximum security prison with the ability to hold approximately 1,700 inmates. Rendering care to inmates includes emergency care, chronic care, acute/ambulatory care, and more. The medical facility includes: an emergency room, triage/clinic area, infirmary floor, pharmacy and medicine window for dispensary, and assessment rooms for examination and treatment for acute sick calls. Nurses rotate through all zones, however, with a specialty in emergency medicine I am assigned to the emergency room where emergencies not only come to you, you respond to emergencies throughout the prison (in the cell blocks, isolation cells, and yards, etc.).
•The mission is to provide judgement free, equal treatment healthcare to all inmates. Although incarcerated, they are human beings deserving of healthcare like anyone else.
Emergency Medical Technician St. Barnabas Health System and SeniorCare EMS
MAY 2018 – AUGUST 2019
Responding to emergency calls through the FDNY New York City Dispatch system and based out of St. Barnabas hospital in the Bronx. Caring for ill and injured patients that require a 911 response. Thus, acquiring extensive experience responding to psychiatric emergencies, traumatic injuries, burns and smoke inhalation, medical illness and emergencies, cardiac and respiratory arrests, strokes, abuse victims, intoxicated patients, and being prepared for calls of unknown nature.
