Responsibilities

Was responsible to manage the complete ICT infrastructure for several sites across South Africa (Johannesburg, Durban, Cape Town, East London, Port Elizabeth)

All systems operations (computers, hardware & software, network, printers & telephones)

Manage strategic service providers (Service turn-a-round and response).

General admin, including IT related expenses.

IT project work - diverse requirements to be the project lead or resource on key project.

Management of the hosted environment, network infrastructure, network support, Web-Order platforms, daily invoice integration, Warehouse Management System, Internet, printing, Reporting systems, Email, Telephones / Fax, Websites and Security

Monitor User Call logs - allocate to service providers. Regular meetings with strategic service providers - review the call log reports and KPI's to SLA's.

Security across all applications and Systems.

ERP monthly month ends.

Monitoring of daily ERP day ends and reports.

Daily back-ups. Maintenance run and year-end roll forward.

Basic reconciliation for all IT service providers’ monthly costs. Monthly submission for manager approval. Monthly submission for capturing and payment of IT costs.

Prepare the annual IT budget

Manage strategic IT projects for internal and external customers.

Manage an annual IT budget

Prepare monthly IT KPI's for Exec and board presentation

Mentoring and managing of IT staff

Initiation, driving and managing of nationwide renewal and improvement projects
