Casing Cutter’ Through CFD Analysis:

[Won Best Well Intervention Technology Award 2019, Meritorious Award for Engineering Innovation 2019]

- The dimensions and features of internal components of tool, which can pump the cement slurry at very high flow rate and mill the casing in single trip, have been optimized by performing CFD numerical Analysis in ANSYS with three configurations of tool.

- Effect of well operating pressure and inlet flow rate on net force on Mandrel have been estimated.

• Performance Enhancement of Variable Valve Lift Mechanism (VVLM):

- Cam and follower profile has been modified which provide continues variable valve lift, give better fuel economy at low RPM, optimum power at high RPM and reduces emission.

- A prototype model has also been made which can measure valve lift.

• Waste Disposal System (Tire Recycling System):

- Construction of ‘Tire recycling plant’ prototype with calculation of critical parameters and break even analysis.

- Hardness of materials used to build road can be enhanced by adding shredded tire rubber, proved by performing Rockwell Hardness Test.

Industrial Exposures and Workshops:

• TEQIP- 3 five day National Workshop on “FRONTIERS IN DESIGN, MANUFACTURING AND ENERGY SUSTAINABILITY” at NIT Surathkal.

• Industrial Training: I have undergone 15 days Summer training at Power Build Ltd. (PBL).
