An ambitious and driven former
entrepreneur with 15+ years of
professional experience, I have worked
on problems that impact every aspect
of a business’s operations. I think
deeply about the future, purposefully
drive toward the vision, and I’m
cognizant of how decisions impact
various stakeholder’s equities. Thus, I
understand a leader’s intent and drive
toward said intent, without supervision,
when making decisions.

When the cannabis marketplace was close to
collapse, I convinced 12+ independent software
vendors to create the Washington State Liquor &
Cannabis Technology Advisory Board. As the chair I was responsible for maintaining a single software
roadmap and SDLC, extinguish anticompetitive
software processes and procedures, and ensure
cannabis businesses problems were being solved.
I Managed daily branch functions with a focus on inventory optimization, customer service, revenue growth, and employee development.
• Developed and implemented location strategies which resulted in the location becoming 2nd best in the region.
• Delivered reviews of branch performance to regional management.
• Developed, communicated, monitored location, and consumer knowledge of the brands and services, ensuring that they were in line with overall corporate objectives.
• Processed weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual financial and reports.
• Conducted monthly business reviews with branch staff to ensure KPI knowledge.
• Completed performance reviews with all Branch staff to discuss strengths and development opportunities.
To take an idea from nothing to one of
Washington’s largest cannabis
software providers, with employees
around the globe.

HIRING MANAGER
What I Have to Offer
In a world of ever-narrowing specialization, I will bring to the company a diversity of thought, background, and data-informed decision making, which will create greater value to your customers. My journey displays a breadth and depth of thinking, which I believe demonstrates I’m not only ready for this position, but with further growth, I could take on a leadership role in the future. In my last role as Coraltree founder, I was responsible for the full lifecycle development of next-generation software, from initial requirement gathering to design, coding, testing, documentation, and implementation. I was recognized for developing innovative solutions for multimillion-dollar businesses. I simplified processes and wrote the first draft of the sequence diagrams, which enabled Coraltree to become the first business to automate the multitudinous step process required to stay in compliance with state laws. As the first-mover, we enabled our customers to reduce the time needed to stay compliant by a median of 25%. The feature increased sales by 63% month over month for 5 months. I also excel in merging business and user needs into high-quality, cost-effective design solutions while keeping within budgetary constraints. My technical expertise includes cross-platform proficiency (Windows, Unix, and Linux); fluency in 8 programming languages (including C, C++, Java, Python, CSS, HTML, Javascript, and SQL); and knowledge of developer applications, tools, methodologies and best practices. I take risks only after assessing the available data, reputational consequences for the organization, and with the understanding, the good of the customer always came first. One such risk was to put into place a process that kept Coraltree customers selling products when the WSLCB system went down for days, without guidance from the WSLCB, which resulted in increased sales for our clients. By acting with honesty, integrity, diving deep, and motivating those around me I was able to create and chair the WSLCB Technology Advisory Board. The board was created to streamline processes, adopt best practices, and provide technical guidance. My experience developing user-friendly solutions on time and on budget will enable me to step into this role and immediately add customer value as well as be an asset to my teammates.
