Final capstone thesis research study was carried out from six NHANES’ cycles (2005-2016) to estimate the prevalence and trends of asthma in the US adults called “Prevalence and Trends of Asthma in United States (US) Adults, 2005-2016: A National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES) Study”.
Performed extensive literature review and created an epidemiology profile about asthma.
Used SAS 9.4 software to compile, calculate, and analyze the data.
Presented the final presentation for thesis defense with the group in front of peers, faculty and dean of New York Medical College, School of Health Sciences and Practices
Practicum Research Project March 2018 – September 2018
Worked on a grant project with department of environmental medicine of New York University for “Identifying Environmental Concerns, Exposures and Health Concerns in the Ramapough Lenape Tribe.”
Performed extensive research regarding the contamination of soil and water near Superfund site areas and its health effects on the residents for many years
