June 2016-Present UNLV Advanced Pediatric Dentistry Department: Clinical Research

Parental Perception towards the oral health provider providing anti- bullying education to their children: Under the guidance of Dr. Christina Demopoulos, research is currently being conducted in order to provide baseline data on the scope and necessity for oral health providers to screen for bullying risk factors and collaborate to increase the prevention of bullying.

Research aims to retrieve information regarding the parental concern for bullying, concern for prevalence, understanding of the bullying protocol in schools, personal experiences with the child/dental provider, and associations between the child's behavior in school as well as in the dental clinic.
