Current position: Infection Control Manager, Abdali Medical Center (Member of Clemenceau Network):

As a member of the Senior Management Team the infection control manager, will provide strategic and clinical leadership in infection prevention and control across the hospital., Responsible for managing and coordinating the activities of infection control, and for participation in short and long planning and developing of infection control strategies through coordination, consultation and collaboration with various relevant stakeholders.

I. Prepare and present an outline of Infection control program focusing on key elements: mission statement, description of objectives and indicators, presentation of action plan, including outcomes, success measures, rules for the functioning of the infection control committee. operating manual, links to other patient safety and healthcare organization programs

VI. Identify and negotiate financial resources with cost—benefit analyses of infection control activities.

VIII. Provide specialist expertise related to infection control on MNGH A healthcare organization policies.

IX. Review and evaluate infection control programs regularly, according to updated legislations, recommendations and latest feedback (audits, surveillance results, etc.) reifying on APP and DPP.

X. Promote collaborative partnerships between professionals while leading and supporting other stakeholders.

XI. Design a training program on infection control activities and procedures for at I employees MNGHA to update their knowledge and awareness according to the latest data (national, local, newly published)

XII. Apply standard methodologies of research to the investigation of healthcare associated infections and to the evaluation of preventive measures.

XIII. Develop Functional links with the laboratory and pharmacy departments for periodically reviewed laboratory and antimicrobial consumption data.

XIV. Identify the benefits of collaborative organized networks (local, regional and national ) and take steps to promote these networks.

XV. Analyze HAI data using appropriate epidemiological methods, measures and tests, seeking the assistance of biostatisticians and other experts when necessary.

XVI. Periodically evaluate the effectiveness of the HAI surveillance system.

XVII. Set a program for the implementation and the revision of infection control guidelines and recommendations.
