JOB DESCRIPTION

A few highlights include:-

• Demonstrated expertise in DRG coding particularly in inpatient setting. Having good knowledge in coding guidelines, Surgical procedure services coding clinic and query

Process:-

• I got excellent knowledge in ICD10, PCS, and CPT and also in HCPCS.

• I learned and exposed to manage multiple facilities while meeting rigorous performance standards and demanding schedules which made me to achieved.

• At first I started my career as medical coder and auditor in ED for 3 and half years. Afterwards, because of my excellent dedicated work, I was moved to inpatient coding.

• Code medical records with ICD-9 & ICD 10, CPT coding and processing 60 to 90 claims daily while maintaining accuracy and achieving productivity goals.

• Duties also include handling wide variety of medical claims including physical therapies, ENT, primary care and psychiatry visits, dental, eye/vision, surgeries, diagnostic testing, ER, and E&M.

• Performed HCC coding (Hierarchical Condition Categories)

• Coding of patient’s chart using ICD-9& ICD 10 Code.
