EXPERIENCE
Temporary Office Assistant Nov 2019 – Feb 2020
Unihouse Limited
•Coordinated office related tasks and worked in both the management and financial sector of the company.
•Worked with clients over the course of my time and have developed skills in marketing.
•Supported various departments by answering phone calls, faxing, and mailing correspondence while also worked with the company database using Excel.
Undergraduate Student Researcher May 2018 – Apr 2019
Clark University
•Directed study on the present Post-transcriptional regulation of nitrate reductase expression in the marine diatom Thalassocracy pseudonana.
•Worked on the project using techniques like transformation by electroporation, using PCR and gel electrophoresis on the transcripts, and seeing the expression of GFP using flow cytometry.
•This allowed me to test the hypothesis that the 3’UTR of the NR mRNA plays a role in regulating the stability of the NR mRNA.
Research Assistant Jun 2017 – Aug 2017
University of California Santa Barbara
•Worked alongside a Ph.D. student’s research on constructed Vanadium catalyst and how its functional support and their coordination systems are used in chemical industries.
•Used various techniques of evacuation and deposition of different supports into the catalyst.
•Developed intrinsic techniques like the usage of U-V visible spectroscopy in kinetics and concentration measurement.
•Learned the usage of Inert glove box (Nitrogen and Argon glove boxes) and EPR to analyze the different Vanadium's
