Job Responsibility

• Shop floor inspection and testing of fabrication pipes.

• Witnessing of pneumatic test, hydro-test, and flushing; system lay-up both in the erection field.

• Preparation of Inspection and Test Plan, Checklist, Procedures and review of pective construction drawing and the respective procurement

• Inspection for pipe laying, pipe erection and assembly inspection, key lock joint, internal cleanliness verification, pre-test listing, line flushing and pressure testing inspection.

• Ensuring piping shop fabrication and field installation quality system is in accordance with client requirement and compliance to codes and standards.

• Attending the Quality coordination meeting and initiating corrective and preventive action.

• Inspection and preparation of GRE, GRP, Pipeline spools fabrication, installation and testing

• Responsible for ensuring that the quality work and quality deliverables of piping activities are carried out as per Standard requirements.

• Perform material receiving inspection of pipes, fitting, gaskets, Valves, flanges, bolts and nuts, etc.

• Responsible for the Dispatchment of the required spool from fabrication yard to site and sand-blasting of the fabricated spools.

• Responsible for the checking of the spools fit-up as per the isometric drawing before dispatch

• Study and understand operations sequence, human work factors, material flow, project information and related information to reduce waste.

• Monitoring of Daily/weekly/monthly progress and plan work schedule.

• Extraction of isometrics drawings as per the projects

• Supervising of Installations of u/g RTR Piping as per P&ID

• Inspection for pipe erection and assembly inspection, branch connection, flange joint inspection, internal cleanliness verification .

• Preparing and maintaining various QA/QC documents and final test packages.

• Clearing of MCC (Mechanical completion certificate) items.

• Reviewing the approved quality plans, manuals and scope of work to perform the required inspection.
