• Designed best-selling faucets for distribution across thousands of home improvement retail spaces such as Lowes, Home Depot, and boutique retail showrooms. Some of these designs are still best sellers 5 years after initial launch.

• Collaborated with clients and other stakeholders to ensure the successful release of products.

• Worked closely with the principal designers to create seasonal lines for retail and showrooms.

• Analyzed trends, sketched to communicate design intent, and used 3D CAD (Alias, Rhino, Solidworks) for advanced surfacing.

Protos Eyewear, San Francisco, CA June 2011 – January 2015 Industrial Design Lead

Designed, developed, and successfully launched the first ever custom-fit 3D printed eyewear line using an unprecedented manufacturing process that guaranteed consistent quality.

• Top eyewear manufacturers in the world were unable to replicate this unique and innovative process.

• Led the design process and managed the supply chain, resulting in the successful international shipment of our first line of products.

• Drove the company’s branding and overall aesthetic. Ran a successful crowdfunding campaign that exceeded or goal by 35%.

• Worked with delicate proportions, creating striking designs that fit the face well. This resulted in record-low return/ exchange rates of less than 4% (typical retail return rates were closer to 10-15% at the time). Studio Fathom, Oakland, CA October 2012 – March 2013 Industrial Designer
