Traffic Flow Analysis

REVA University

This project is intended to check the efficiency and control of the flow of the traffic at an intersection, point out the flaws (if any) in the geometric design and, work out the possible solutions.

• Traffic flow survey is conducted using the manual methods in 4 groups.

• Using the data obtained Passenger Car Unit (PCU) for individual type of the vehicle is calculated.

• Using the obtained results, the traffic pattern of a particular intersection is understood.

• Finally, the results and the possible solutions for the flaws are reported in detail Volunteer Experience
