CORPORATE HEAD – HR [PUNJAB OPERATIONS]

Cargo Motors Private Limited [Sep 2008 – Apr 2019] On the profile of Corporate Head – HR, Punjab Operations, held the responsibility towards People, Performance & Culture of around 800 employees in two divisions - Commercial Vehicle (TATA) and Two Wheeler (HONDA) at 30+ locations across Punjab. Earlier, up to March 2015, CMPL had more than 1200 employees and operating business in four Divisions – TATA Tucks, TATA Cars, FIAT Cars and HONDA Scooters & Bikes. Handled team of [15] - 2 HR Managers, 1 Admin Manager, 2 HR Executives, 10 Time Officers. Plus team of 120+ Security Personnel of three different Security Service Providers. HR OPERATIONS & PRACTICE

Manpower Rationalism: Badly hit by recession in 2008, Cargo Motors decided to reduce its Manpower cost.25 % manpower was reduced in between Oct ’08 - Jun ’09. And again, in 2014, it was decided by the management to close down their both Passenger Car Divisions

(TATA & FIAT), resulting manpower downsizing by 45% in between Oct ‘14 – Mar ’16. At both instants, I had played crucial role for successful downsizing without any labour conflict.

Audit: Regularly scored in MIPFV above 90%.

Computerisation: Successfully converted manual attendance to bio-metric attendance.

Training: Developed Training Need Analysis Form and give more focus on training while regular communication with TML’s.

Collective Bargaining: Successfully resolve many labour disputes before Labour Inspector, Conciliation Officer, and Assistant Labour Commissioner in Jalandhar, Amritsar, Pathankot, Gurdaspur, Hoshiarpur and Nawanshahr districts though Negotiation.

Factory Licence: Get approved 3 Factory Licences, revised 4 Factory Licences.
