Roles and Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities basically involves contributing and overseeing the implementation of Safety Policies, procedures and controls as per Client and Company Standards.

Support the HSE Manager and team with planning, coordinating and implementing

of effective HSE policies, guidelines and procedures to ensure that the department objectives are met.

Provide support to Project and Operation team in all aspects of safety, occupational health, safety and environmental issues.

Support the HSE Manager in ensuring HSE compliance.

Attend pre-job, planning and client meetings as required on HSE related matters.

Ensure training, tool box meetings, and drills are implemented as part of the company’s training and HSE program, i.e. emergency response systems, etc.

Investigate and complete the process for close out of all Accident Investigation Reports and prepare/submit lessons learned to the Regional HSE Manager for promulgation to the management.

Conduct HSE trainings and orientation to all new employees.

Carry Out Daily Audit of Work Permits on Site and ensure Permits are Valid and relevant with Work been carried out.

Raising Awareness of Workforce on a Day to day Basis of hazards and Associated Risks involved with Job via Toolbox Talks, Weekly Safety Moments and inspection.

Monitor all equipment’s/tools used at Site and ensure copies of Required

Inspections Certificates are available

Report Unsafe Situations/Unsafe action to Responsible Supervisors/Site management and Discuss Solutions to avoid Recurrence.
