(Commissioning and Operation in 2x660 MW Super Critical Power Plant Boiler & Turbine Make: L&T MHI)

• Responsible for Boiler Operation, hot & cold start-up of boiler; efficiently handle emergency situations of desk operations.

• Deftly monitor parameters of desk operation and performance of boiler; efficiently implement Standard Operating Procedures, equipment lockout tag out, procedures of power plant as per International Standards.

• Involved in troubleshooting and breakdown/preventive/corrective maintenance for reducing downtime to minimum.

• Effectively manage plant availability and Plant Load Factor; meticulously improve plant efficiency by lowering APC, minimizing specific coal consumption and decreasing water consumption.

• Accountable for keeping stringent water chemistry as per plant requirement; ensure Process Understanding and Process Control which involves optimization of all parameters based upon load variations keeping health of the equipment in check.

• Involved in isolating equipment from the rest of the system for repairs/maintenance/overhaul; safeguard Locking out - Tagging out for High KV equipment.

• Manage Equipment Control and Operation which involves in-depth knowledge of associated equipment; carry out preventive maintenance of all equipment as per the schedule and maintain the Equipment History / Details.

• Involved in Commissioning activities of Boiler and Commissioning of ID, PA, FD fan and Boiler Circulating Pump including its Auxiliaries- Boiler Chemical Cleaning, Cold & Hot Clean Up, Steam Blowing & Mill Air Flow Test.
