Self Contained EC Teacher: I work with severe/ profound exceptional children in a traditional public high school. My students require assistance with academics due to learning disabilities, behavioral issues, and/or physical disabilities that require a small classroom environment, differentiated learning, and exceptional care to personal needs. In addition to classroom responsibilities,I am also an active member of the School Improvement team, and coach men’s tennis.

The professional development specifically focused on the use of accommodations and modifications in the classroom as well as best practices for the inclusion classroom.
