PROJECTS:
Automatic solar tracking system for Parabolic Trough Collector (May 2015 - April 2016)
• The proposed design involves implementation of Tracking Parabolic Solar Trough collector.
• Thermal efficiency of water in the receiver is increased by the principle of Total Reflection and Tracking.
• Trough constructed on the principle of the Total Reflection of rays staying on the receiver to increase its performance.
• Designed Worm and Worm Wheel mechanism for reduction of driving torque and minimization of the tracking periodic errors.
• Stepper Motor is programmed in C language. This motor is used to rotate Worm Wheel which in turns rotates the trough.
• Successfully tracked parabolic trough with the intervals of 10mins.
• Achieved results with better Thermal Efficiency. Spraying Car (September 2012 — April 2013)
• Aim of the project was to make effortless Spraying System by using Slider Crank Mechanism.
• Liquid filled in the container is pumped outside because of the pressure created due to movement of rear axle.
• Designed spur gears train, links and connecting rods.
• Analyzed the failure in the processes.
• Manufactured the required parts in college workshop with the help of processes like milling, turning, punching, welding etc.
• Successfully implemented Spraying System.
ACHIEVEMENTS:
• Design and manufacture 125cc go cart, successfully won 2nd prize in go cart championship - 2016
