Responsible for distribution and warehousing center operations and logistics for a global garment manufacturing company. This includes staffing, budget, supply chain, facilities, contract negotiations and customer partnership as senior member of corporate leadership team:
• Leadership of the fulfillment, packing, shipping, and receiving organizations, comprised of 300 full time and contract union employees, including labor union contract negotiations.
• Developed and implemented corporate strategy working with sales, human resources, information technology, facilities, e-commerce and finance senior leadership. This included developing and maintaining payroll, materials and maintenance budget standards for the facility.
• Led successful facilities renovations, consolidations, and expansion to 600,000 square feet operation. Created space design, definition. and implementation of material handling equipment to meet 50% corporate growth and addition of e-commerce requirements. Managed compliance and acceptance with outside vendors and construction teams to meet our needs and stay within the budget.
