Job Responsibilities

Second in Command of the ship,

Planning of the cargo stowage w.r.t to max cargo intake, safety, stability and stress of the ship, port rotation etc.

Preparation of the cargo tanks to the required standards for loading chemicals of various purity.

Handling and care of cargoes during the voyage and safe loading and discharging of chemicals in bulk.

Ship operations such as, Navigation, Radio communication, ballast operations, maintenances, cosmetic upgradation etc.

Safety and security of the vessel and crew including the fire fighting and life saving arrangements.

Preparing the vessel for various surveys and inspections.

Head of department of deck department.

Training of the trainees onboard.

Testing and calibration of various equipments and maintaining various files, records, work permits and certificates etc. Education Cargoes Handled
