Title : Smart irrigation system

Project description : The project aims in designing a system which is capable of detecting moisture level in the soil and capable of taking the decision of switching ON/ OFF water pump. The system also uses temperature sensor to detect the temperature level and control the water pump automatically using TRIAC switch.

MAJOR PROJECT

Title : Control of Active Power Exchange With Auxiliary Power Loop in a Single-Phase Cascaded Multilevel Converter-Based Energy Storage System.

Software used for modelling and analysis : MATLAB software.

Project description : Cascaded multilevel converter (CMC)-based energy storage system, which consists of cascaded H-bridge converters and energy storage components, is a promising option to compensate fluctuating electric power of renewable energy. The cascaded converter cells and the LC branch form an auxiliary power loop, which could realize active power exchange between different cells.
