I am leading Agile PLM team from Pune to provide Global support to company’s 60 sites

and development initiatives.

My Last role was – Oracle Agile PLM Administrator

Secure Meters Limited is a multinational company into manufacturing of energy Meters (electrical, Gas)

Oracle Agile PLM(PC,PQM,PPM,EC) along with Solidworks (Mechanical CAD) and Altium (Electronic CAD) is used for all the product developments, The CAD tools are connected to Agile PLM (with connectors). Agile PLM was launched in Secure Meters Limited in the year 2009 with the help of Oracle as its implementation partner.

The tasks assigned to me during rollout was to

Extract Item/BOM/AML/Manufacturers/Documents/Development notes from legacy system as per the Agile Import templates

Testing of two custom java interfaces which were being developed by Oracle to transfer item/BOM/Changes/AML from Agile system to Oracle EBS system and item/assembly cost information from Oracle EBS into Agile PLM

I was assigned the task to demonstrate legacy system functionality to Oracle to help in designing of the new system

After sometime after rollout I was made Oracle Agile PLM administrator

Once Agile PLM was rollout successfully in India we implemented (Secure Team without partner) implemented it at all the overseas sites (2 in UK, 1 in Sweden and 1 in Australia)

My task was to provide data template for data collection (Items/Documents/BOM/Cost/AML) and importing them to the Agile Server, creating and configuring new processes/workflows/Roles/Responsibilities to suits their requirement

Currently I am looking after a project to upgrade Oracle Agile PLM from 9.2.2.7 to 9.3.3.X

My daily duties included

Configuring new processes into agile

Modifying existing objects as per business need

Creating workflows

Create and manage roles/responsibilities

Functional/technical support to the users

Escalating issues to Oracle support and getting it resolved

I use Sql/Plsql to extract data from database server whenever data is required for reporting

I develop Agile SDK standalone applications for extraction of data/ Mass update

I sometimes modify Oracle Agile custom interface as per business need

I work closely with the DBA team to insure 24*7 availability of Oracle Agile PLM services/Oracle Agile file vaults, planning/patching/Agile scheme status monitoring using averify on Agile Applications

I work closely with Oracle EBS team to address Oracle EBS manufacturing track issues

Woking closely with development teams and to address Agile PLM/CAD connectors issues through self or escalating issue to Oracle

I work closely with quality team in designing new processes following industry best practices

I regularly check data integrity of cost/Item/BOM between Oracle Agile and Oracle EBS systems

In short I was FPR(first person responsible) for Oracle Agile PLM

Previous Role And Responsibilities

Development/Maintenance of ERP using Forms10g/Reports 10g/SQL/PLSQL to bring maximum business benefit with ease of use

I Developed/Maintained Engineering system as a team lead- The engineering system had the functionality to generate a new part request, register a part, defining AML and BOMs for the part/assembly/product, raising a change requests, ECOs and implementing changes into latest revision production BOM, it had functionality of handling deviations if any raised by planning

Automatic notifications were provided throughout the system

I Developed/Maintained DRN system as a team lead- The DRN (Development requirement note) system was developed for new product developments. Marketing department raised a feasibility request for new product development, if the product was found feasible to develop by the RND and had a perfect business case then a DRN was raised.

This module had the functionality to define development teams and basic project plan, product specifications approvals, design approvals, Test plans and release of a product

Automatic notifications were provided throughout the system

I Developed/Maintained Business system for PRI UK (sister concern of Secure Meters Limited) as a team lead - PRI UK markets Secure Meters Limited products to global markets, The Business system developed had the functionality to generate a sales forecast, book a sales order, checking finish goods stocks, generating purchase orders, goods issue and receipt, registering items, registering suppliers, invoicing, registering supplier invoice and payments, credit notes/debit notes

Automatic notifications were provided throughout the system

I Developed/Maintained order booking/ order execution module for YML(sister concern of Secure Meters Limited) - YMPL is into electronics instruments measurements and calibration business, the business system developed had the capability to book a customer order, receive customer product, select the tests to perform, generate automatic job cards for the test engineer, to enter test results and finally generate a test certificate

This was a very advance module in terms of complexity

Development/Maintenance of Web Applications(Field Failure handling and customer complaints) using Java as a team lead - This was a java servlets based web system to register customer complaints/tracking complaints to close linked to main business system

Purchase Order Module: Purchase Order is placed for the above sanctioned indents.

GAM Module: Goods arrival memo is entered for the received against said purchase orders.
