EXPERIENCE
PROCESS ADVISOR – HR OPERATIONS BARCLAYS 25 FEBRUARY 2019 – 11 MAY 2020 Employee Data Management (EDM)
− Feeding the payroll inputs, Employee data & additional payments in SAP system
− Hiring the new joiners data and bank details for the payment purpose
− Processing the maternity, paternity and other forms of leaves for the employees according to Barclays policy and generate a term letter for the record purpose.
− Dealing escalation, critical cases and calls for the team in order to render a solution and rectifying the issues.
− Managing the teams attendance, Log-in details and the track of productivity & accuracy in monthly basis.
− Auditing the payroll inputs for the final run for every month.
− Performed as a meeting advisor and process expert for the team to handle the cases allocated in daily basis and ensuring the SLA is met.
PROJECTS:
1. Automation of Sickness statutory Process:
− In brief, Barclays share nearly 300 letters templates every month for employees in long term sickness to avail the benefits of the government as there pay will be paused until the employees resume to work.
− This process was tedious as the manual driven date caused lots of discrepancies in employees information and this resulted in critical issue of data breach.
− Suggested an idea of driving a report from SAP, which can never fletch incorrect data of employees as this was the hiring system and the only source of storing the data of the hired and terminated employees.
− Master excel was created instead of manually creating letters as this helped in data accuracy.
− A macro was introduced to convert the data fletched from SAP directly to a letter format using the mail merge option.
− This ended in great success as the data was 100 percent error free.
− Undoubtedly we saved 32 hours of work in a week which replicated 16 days of work is been reduced to 5 hours every month.

General Operations:
− Governing and updating the HR Portal (ESS – Employee self-service) for end to end data management like hiring, Exits of employees, Attendance, Organization structure and reporting hierarchy.
− Documentation for new hires and providing offer letter including systematized onboarding formalities to policies and culture.
− Generating all employee letters which includes Reference letters, Promotion, Resignation & Exits letters.
− Reports of the growth, impacts, feedbacks and analysis for the area of improvement is been regularly monitored and addressed for better employee facilitation. Payroll:
− Accumulate the payroll inputs (incentives, LOP, rewards, PF, Gratuity) from different department and upload the entire data in SAP System and generate a payroll report.
− Crediting payments for the employees in a monthly basis for best performance, increment, salary revision etc.
− Maintaining the attendance tracker, Regulating the queries and policies for the contract associates and coordinating with the vendors for the salary generation in monthly basis.
− Maintaining the entire master data regarding the payment status, Mediclaim and insurance. On- Boarding, Training & Development:
− Induction session for all the new joiners (Policies, ESS, HR.NET Portals)
− Monthly training on soft skill development (Email etiquettes, presentation & communication skills, Personality development, customer centricity, Responsiveness) 2. Return to work acknowledgement letter through Mail merge Technique:
− World is running in a speed where it has no time for people who crib things manually but an automation is always a welcoming call to be recognized among the crowd.
− The current process of creating letters manually for approximately 400 UK employees who is about to return from long leaves like maternity, career break, sickness or undisclosed reason will be sent manually. This was not helping out since the letter acknowledged contained immense of personal information to be included.
− As Barclays had right technologies in hand, I made use of it to drive data from system like SIEBEL, SAP & HR portals to collate the required details like name, address, date of returning to work etc.
− This project inaugurated a confidence to the processors as the relied data was no more manually calculated but depends on the technologies and systems in place.
− We have reduced nearly 12 cases every day, 60 cases a week and approximately 400 cases a month as the process had a shift from daily processing to a day process in a week.
− This had a tremendous positive impact in the process as the processor has to work only on the system driven data in just one day by saving 5 hours of work in a week, 33 hours every month. REWARDS
• Awarded as CI champion for the month of August & September for the Q3 quarter of the yeas as a recognition for completing 2 projects.
CSR/ Fun committee/ Event management:
− Recognizing the best performers for every month / quarterly /yearly basis by arranging the right category of awards and taking over the forum for announcing the winners by organizing an event in monthly basis.
− Organizing the Year end recognition and celebration for the entire HR operations team of nearly 180 members and coordinating the events outside organization.
− Fungage- Fun at work is most awaiting forum every Friday by the employees. Organizing games, dance, Mimes and any form of entertainment to enhance the employees interest to work and a factor of stress relief.

PROJECTS:
1. EMS (Exit management System) - completed a project in which the exit initiation of the employees is changed from manual to system driven.
− This project is covered for 890 employees of 3 different work stations in Chennai
− Working period for the project was 2 months and successfully launched on May'18 in which I was awarded as best performer for the month
− This project had a great advancement in the work process by replacing the paper work and file management to system driven results and data which helped in audit and easy data managing
− Responsible for the entire exit procedure like conducting exit interviews, negotiation and generates the F&F process
2. LMS (Leave Management System) - a project in making the leave policy and leave application systematic through the portal Employee self-service(ESS).
− Employee has the flexibility in initiating the leave in LMS irrespective of location and time.
− LMS covered around 890 employees and to the clients of ADP.
− A huge transformation was implemented in the leave management system which reduced manual works, excel sheets, paper works, communication, dependencies and saved immense valuable time of the employees and well as HR
3. My Profile- This module is launched approximately for 890 associates and for all the new joiners as a onboarding process by replacing the manual documentation of the employee details to uploading the information directly to the system called “My Profile” CSR/ Fun committee:
− Organizes reward ceremony & fun events on special occasions/ festivals in monthly basis
− Coordinating in events like Marathon, collecting funds, visiting orphanages etc, as a part of CSR activities
