Presently working for McDermott Chennai, India as Sr. Piping Stress Engineer.

Previously worked as Sr. Piping Stress Engineer for Technip India (TechnipFMC) Pvt. Ltd., Mumbai, India.

Have remarkable international work experience. Worked before in Saudi Arabia for FOSTER WHEELER (Saudi Aramco) & in Japan for JGC.

Proficient in performing Flexibility & Stress Analysis (Static & Dynamic modes) of piping & pipeline systems connected to & from all static and rotating equipments using CAESAR-II as per latest codes and regulatory industry standards.

Nozzle loads check in compliance with relevant equipment standard or stipulated vendor allowable.

Flange Leakage/Stress Analysis calculations as per Kellogg Equivalent Pressure Method & ASME NC 3658.3.

Local stress check of Vessel at the vicinity of nozzle and shell junction as per WRC 107/297.

Worked on Cross Country Pipelines and FRP/GRP Piping & Pipelines.

Buried Pipeline Analysis of Carbon Steel and FRP pipelines in compliance with ASME B31.4, ASME B31.8, ISO 14692, BS 7159, American Lifelines Alliance standard (Steel Pipe).

Dynamic Analysis: [Time History / Response Spectrum Method]: Seismic (ASCE#7, UBC, IBC); Relief Valve Thrust Force Analysis (ASME B31.1 Appendix II or API RP 520); Transient Flow (Steam Hammer/Water Hammer/Surge/Slug).

Selection and Design of hangers & supports; preparing the sketches for special pipe supports.

Prepare: technical bid/proposals, estimate man-hours, critical line list, piping stress analysis specification; technical specification for spring hangers/supports, expansion bellows, various standard calculation spread sheets for the manual calculations as and when required.

Optimize the analysis for restraint loads, pipe route, before providing piping design loads of process structures, thrust blocks, pipe rack etc., to civil/structure department.; preparing the support load mark-up, isometric markup etc.

Proactive in interacting/coordinating with other engineering disciplines like Layout, Process, Instrumentation, Civil, Mechanical.etc.., vendor and customer for proper flow of piping stress analysis work.

Lead the various piping stress analysis jobs and mentor the teams & involve myself as team member to complete the job on time.

Attend customer calls, team meeting, and weekly review meeting with other engineering disciplines. Update project status regularly.

Familiar with ASME B31.1, ASME B31.3, ASME B31.4, ASME B31.8, API 610, API660, API 661, API 617, API 650, API 560, HEI, NEMA SM23, ISO 14692, DNV-OS-F101, UKOOA, DIN, EN13480 and WRC 107/297 standards.

Finalizing & clearing the stress systems for IFC; preparing the stress reports as per standard procedures.

B.E (Mechanical), First Class with Distinction in the year 2005 from Basaveshwara Engineering College, VTU, Bagalkot, Karnataka, India.
