Summary of main Job Tasks and Responsibilities
1-Setup ERPs and design the flow of activities, whether from financial and operational perspective, considering internal controls requirements in designing.
2- Take full ownership of Finance Department, manage and supervising all Finance and Accounting activities, coordinate with various Departments within the organization to promote and enhance goal congruence.
3- Negotiation with banks, prepare and presenting all necessary documents for obtaining facilities (LCs, LGs, Overdraft, Capex …etc) in the context of the firm’s legal entity, current and potential financial and operating results or/and the creditworthiness of the owners.
4-Liaise with external auditors, often be one of the "BIG FOUR e.g. ERNST &YOUNG -DILLOITTE -BDO” or one of international audit firms.
5- Preparation of Financial statement from point of view either that serve finance purposes in coordination with the External Auditor and according to "generally accepted accounting principles and that compatible with applicable law” or managerial reports that serve internal purposes, supervise and redesign all financial treatment to meet VAT requirements and Withholding tax return.
6- Projects Management, in Kuwait - Coalition Forces "Housing Project", in Bahrain – construction works and maintenance of buildings and palaces in collaboration with Saudi Oger and the ministry of works.
7- Providing, enhancement the cost accounting system and linked with the financial system in integrated manner to serve both Financial and Managerial purposes.
8- Accurate and timely preparation of all financial reports, monthly, interim according to management perspective " Internal reporting system ", annual financial statements according to GAAP and according to IFRs since 2010, reporting to government regulatory agencies .
9.-Preparation of Annual budget "annual profit plan ", cash flow forecast, business plans and use them as a control - pricing tools.
10- Analyzing the budget variances that related to different operating areas "budgetary control".
11- Manage working capital elements in efficient manner and in context of the norms of industry.
12- Review, assessing and reinforcement of the internal control system and related procedures in continuous basis, considering the cost- benefit analysis.
13-Determine overall cost of capital and "WACC" and link it with the current and potential finance cost, identify the proper Finance sources, based on the capital structure and management vision.
14-Determine the variance between actual cost and estimated cost and investigate variance reasons.
