Title : Rejection Reduction of Inlet Manifold produced by 1350 Tonnage Pressure Die Casting Machine.
The tenure was fully utilized in reducing the reduction percentage of the mentioned product from 16.67% to a range of 9.19% by means of Data Collection and Visual Representation to find the top contributors of the overall rejection based on types of causes and its associated defects. The successful completion of the project was achieved through collection of Rejection Data, Cause-Effect Diagram, Pareto analysis, Preparation of Check Sheet and Evaluating PPS(Process Parameter Standard), Adjustment of deviating Parameters, Implementation of Control Methods. The project was carried out based on the DMAIC model for sustainable development or Quality Control. Design and Fabrication Project:
Title : Design and Fabrication of Universal Fixture for Suspension Analysis The project dealt with the design and fabrication of universal fixture to accommodate suspension of various types such as Air, Hydraulic or Spring suspension with different stroke and volume on a vibrator/shaker machine.
