Responsible for calibration and validation of Denso owned EGR High Flow, Low Flow & Slow response OBD monitor algorithms used for Heavy Duty diesel application (HINO 8.0L) to meet the gaseous emission of 40 CFR part 1065 and 1971.1 OBD regulations of California Air Resources Board (CARB).

OBD monitor readiness for diverse virtual cases by creating WPA & BPU parts, made necessary threshold maps optimization using ETAS INCA for its robust performance.

Vehicle assessment of the monitor behavior on false passes and false fails of the decision taken by software. Ensured the optimum IUMPR on real time highway and city drive cycle.

Post processing and analysis of data using AVL Concerto, NI LabVIEW & Flexpro.

Emission data acquisition & analysis using Cambustion NDIR 500 for CO and CO2, CLD500 for NOx, HFR 300 for THC and Opacity meter for measuring soot.
