WORK EXPERIENCE

Graduate Research Assistant - University of Texas at Arlington Research Institute Jun ‘19-Oct ‘19

Worked under the guidance of Dr. Md Rassel Raihan in designing the Portable Impedance Analyzer circuit that measures impedance of the glass & carbon fiber with frequency range 10hz to 1Mhz.

Trained with lab equipment -oscilloscopes and logic analyzers

Engineering Trainee - National Small Industries Corporation, MSME, Chennai, India Jul ’17- Jul ’17

Assisted the engineering team in solar power plant installed and connected as on grid at NSIC

Grasped knowledge in IOT Architecture (introduction), automation, PID controller, ADC, DAC, sensors, and actuators

Worked on a team project to interface the hardware inputs with PIC microcontroller using Visual Basic language. The solar panel is interfaced with the Microcontroller 16F877A and the electrical energy obtained is calculated & displayed.

Trainee, Airport Authority of India – Air India, Chennai, India Aug ’16- Aug ’16

Acquired knowledge in networking systems & gained knowledge in computer architecture

ACADEMIC PROJECTS:

Unmanned Ground Vehicle (UGV) – Skid steering Rover May ’20

Worked on a team to build an autonomous ground vehicle with way-point navigation using odometry between goal & origin.

Built a system with 6wd wild-thumper, Pixhawk, GPS & circuit designed (PCB) teensy to implement way-point navigation.

Used Gazebo simulator to develop obstacle avoidance mechanism using vision sensor. Implemented Manhattan distance technique to find the shortest path. Occupancy grid was used as world model with predefined free cells and obstacle cells.

Electronic Equipment - LCR Meter Nov ’18

Designed a system to measure inductance (L), capacitance (C) & resistance (R) with a tolerance level of +/- 5.

Used using TI-TM4C123G-ARM CORTEX-M4 launchpad, Code Composer for coding in Embedded C & user interface is established by Tera Term. Established serial communication using UART & configured on chip timers to trigger interrupts.

STM32 projects: Jun ‘20

Communicated between STM32F407xx and Arduino by SPI, I2C and USART, and tested using Logic Analyzer.

Implemented Tested CAN Tx and Rx functionality using STM32 CAN (bx CAN) loopback mode.

Maximum Demand Controller (ISSN 2455-7579): Mar ‘18

A prototype is designed using PIC Microcontroller 16F877A considering the various loads & a priority wise load switching.

System monitors the load parameters & compares it with pre-set value. Prioritized loads are disconnected by means of contactors to maintain the desired maximum demand using, relays, potential & current transformers.

Design of an SDRAM controller: Mar ‘19

Designed SDRAM controller and used as an interface between SDRAM memory and Intel 80386DX microprocessor

Enabled data transfer of varying burst length, modelled read, write and initialization cycles using state machine

CERTIFICATION:

Unmanned Vehicle system - UT Arlington, Intro to Self-driving cars - Coursera, Sensors circuits & design, Shape the world - edx, Embedded C, Mastering Microcontroller with embedded driver development & Timers, PWM, CAN, RTC, Low powe
