I have over five years of inventory planning and analysis experience at Walgreens, the last two of which have been spent building and maintaining the reporting environment and processes of the Ecommerce team. I am looking to take my unique background and experience with me in pursuit of greater challenges and rewards and this role seems like a perfect for me.
EXPERIENCE
OCT 2019-PRESENT
ECOMMERCE BUSINESS PROCESS MANAGER, walgreens
Utilizing self-developed SQL/SAS scripts, I develop, maintain, and publish supply chain reporting materials and tools as well as many clerical duties too varied to mention here. Most recently, I have been focusing on project work around the current crisis, system integration, and developing SOPs for new resources. I also work closely with other business groups to align the efforts of our team across the business.
FEB 2018-OCT 2019
ECOMMERCE DEMAND PLANNER, walgreens
Working with ~100 vendors and my merchant colleagues, I was responsible for the forecasting and overall inventory position of the vitamins business online. I was also responsible for maintaining purchase orders, vendor/dc coordination, and advising our manager with analytical requests reminiscent of my prior role on the team. I was likewise a liaison for our team to ongoing companywide process, tool, and workflow improvement projects.
SEP 2016-FEB 2018
ECOMMERCE INVENTORY ANALYST, Walgreens
The primary focus of this role was to create an entire metric reporting structure where none really existed. This involved developing entirely new SQL and VBA scripts (for excel templates), R scripts, as well as SAS projects, all to best address the input from my new colleagues and our shared stakeholders. It also required an intimate knowledge of standard procurement KPIs and how best to present and teach them for maximum performance. Aside from that, I also spent a great deal of time reinventing forecasting, ordering, and tracking tools used by the team. The improved visibility made communication between colleagues and stakeholders more effective, and the redeveloped tools made everyone more productive. This was demonstrated by the steady improvement of instock and DOS metrics during my time in this role. I also had the opportunity to teach members in the new hire rotational program we have what I know of our systems and how all our tools and reports were generated.
JAN 2016-SEP 2016
REVERSE LOGISTICS ANALYST, Walgreens
Responsible for analyzing and executing inventory exit projects (ie store returns, damaged goods, etc.), ad hoc reporting for other teams, and performing clerical duties around relevant company-wide processes such as resolving issue tickets from stores. I spent a lot of time in this role streamlining our work by developing "auto-disposition" templates for long lists of items we needed to process and writing scripts to run through redundant and time consuming as400 tasks.
APR 2014-JAN 2016
SENIOR SUPPLY PLANNER, Walgreens
Maintaining Store Instock, Days of Supply, and Fill Rate metrics through effective vendor, item, and order management. In this role, I had a portfolio of over 150 vendors spanning several thousand items in the beauty/personal care business, that, in total, comprised around 20 million dollars’ worth of inventory at any given time. I was also responsible for coordinating and reporting on new item launches, process improvement projects, and generally assisting two separate demand planners with their day to day work when needed.
